The Wound

The wound of life it deepens,
Deeper than the deepest sea,
Slowly but surely listens,
Sinking deeper into me.
Softly and quietly deepens,
Further into death's door I creep,
As the wound of life deepens,
No one doth lose their sleep,
Except me as the wound deepens,
Deepens, Deepens,
The wound of life it deepens,
Deeper than the deepest sea,
I am dead,
The wound of life hath deepened right through me.
